Copper Mountain New PUD Approved

Copper Mountain's new planned unit development was approved late yesterday afternoon; Intrawest now moving forward

The Summit Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved a new PUD for Copper Mountain which will give them the rights to build an additional 400 plus properties at the ski resort.

The approval paves the way for the much talked about; once Hard Rock Hotel - now a new hotelier to build one of the largest properties at the base village of Copper Mountain.

This will allow Intrawest to continue with their $400 million dollar face lift of the ski area.

The site-specific master plan had been scaled-down after several previous proposal denials.

But now with things moving forward at Copper Mountain and some of the least expensive ski in ski out properties, this is a perfect time to consider a real estate purchase at this mountain.
