| November 27, 2009 | | Looking for fashions at the 2010 Olympics | The Parade of Nations is always a highly anticipated part of the Winter Olympics. This year, fashion lovers are looking ahead to Vancouver (and Whistler, where some of the events will be held) and the 2010 Winter Olympics with anticipation.
Ralph Lauren has designed the outfits for every U.S. athlete participating in the 2010 Winter Olympics. Here is what The Street reports on what has emerged so far:
While what the athletes wear is always a much-anticipated secret, a few looks have already emerged, with Ralph Lauren
making a statement with his signature red, white and blue. Hot looks
include tapered pants, slight silhouettes and shawl cardigans made from
plush merino wool, all with official logos of the U.S. Olympic team and
iconic polo embroidery. Top it off with a USA-emblazoned wool hat with
retro Olympic logo, which is sure to be a staple around the Olympic
Village during the Vancouver games.
It looks like high style will be one of the highlights of this year's Winter Olympics. Will you be watching?
