Hiring Begins for Ritz-Carlton on Lake Tahoe

New Lake Tahoe ski resort looking to fill almost 300 positions

Anticipation surrounding the Ritz-Carlton continues to mount. The Lake Tahoe ski resort is expected to open December 9, and the resort is looking for employees. Indeed, the Ritz-Carlton has advertised the need for nearly 300 positions to be filled.

There is some disappointment with allowing the Ritz-Carlton to develop the North Lake Tahoe area. The area had not seen new large scale ski resort real estate development for decades.

However, local leaders are excited about the prospect of providing jobs and a source of high-end tourist income from the Ritz-Carlton in the North Lake Tahoe area. In these tough economic times, many are excited about the prospect of a little local stimulus.
