Telluride Adaptive Ski Program (TASP) Receives Ski-in Ski-out Location

Donation of prime ski-in ski-out property helps the non-profit
The Telluride Adaptive Ski Program (TASP) is designed to help those with disabilities enjoy skiing. TASP helps a number of clients enjoy the slopes at Telluride ski resort. However, since 1995 the non-profit has had to shuttle its participants around and work out of two offices. A donation, though, should provide the organization with much-needed space on prime ski-in ski-out property. Telluride News reports on the deal that is providing TASP with a new headquarters:

Through a complicated deal with the developers of Capella, the Telluride Mountain Village Owners Association and the Town of Mountain Village, TMVOA is buying a prime 1,683-square foot space in the Village — and conveying it to TASP.

The deal is expected to close on Friday. The space is located on the ground floor of the new Capella building, near the top of Chair 1. It will provide TASP with a ski-in, ski-out home that is roomy enough to fit its whole operation — and even allow the non-profit room to grow.

With the offices located right next to a ski run, it should be easier for TASP to serve its clients.
