| June 04, 2009 | | Ski resort development to continue at Sun Valley | Sun Valley has been meaning to continue its ski resort development for years. However, Sun Valley has been renowned for taking things slowly, and trying to introduce changes in a manner that allows the ski resort to keep its current feel.
In order to help develop the River Run and White Clouds properties, Sun Valley has asked for help from East West Partners. East West has done work in Vail, Denver and Lake Tahoe, and Sun Valley was pleased to work with them. On the Snow reports on why Sun Valley managers chose East West Partners:
"We were struck by how each project is appropriate for its environment
and location, as well as the high quality of their work. We will be
introducing East West Partners principals to Sun Valley and Ketchum
business people and city officials and we hope those people will take
advantage of the opportunity to get to know them and to provide input
and suggestions for the River Run property and the White Clouds
property.
It will be interesting to see how this phase of ski resort development in Sun Valley takes shape, and the kind of features that are added to one of the best ski resorts in the West.
